Terms of Service for Fixture Sync

Last Updated: 7 May 2026

Welcome to Fixture Sync (operated by Peregrine Automations). By accessing our website, uploading data, or subscribing to our calendar feeds, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

1. Description of Service

Fixture Sync ("the Service") is a digital platform that converts grassroots sports fixture data into synchronizable digital calendar feeds (.ics files). The Service is provided to sporting clubs ("Clubs") to distribute match schedules, and to players, parents, and supporters ("End Users") to view those schedules.

2. User Types and Responsibilities

A. Club Admins (File Uploaders)

If you are accessing the admin portal to upload fixture data on behalf of a Club, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are authorized by the Club to access and distribute this fixture data.
  • You have the legal right to upload the data (such as CSV or Excel files exported from official association platforms like Dribl).
  • You will not upload any files containing malicious code, viruses, or personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is strictly necessary for match scheduling.

B. End Users (Parents/Subscribers)

If you are accessing the public portal to sync a calendar to your device, you understand that:

  • No account creation is required.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your device and calendar application (e.g., Apple Calendar, Google Calendar) are configured correctly to receive recurring updates.

3. Data Accuracy and "Missed Game" Liability

Fixture Sync acts strictly as a data processor and delivery mechanism.

Data Source:

All match times, dates, and venue locations are provided directly by the Club. Fixture Sync does not create, verify, or alter the core fixture data.

Sync Delays:

While we strive for immediate updates, native calendar applications (like Apple Calendar or Google Calendar) dictate their own refresh rates. Fixture Sync cannot force a device to fetch new data.

No Liability:

Fixture Sync, Peregrine Automations, and the associated Club are not liable for any missed matches, incorrect venue information, or late arrivals resulting from delayed calendar syncs, incorrectly entered source data, or third-party platform outages. Always verify last-minute changes with your Team Manager.

4. Intellectual Property

Platform IP:

Peregrine Automations retains all ownership, copyright, and intellectual property rights to the Fixture Sync software, code, UI/UX design, and infrastructure.

Data IP:

The factual fixture data remains the property of the respective Club or sporting association. Fixture Sync claims no ownership over the match schedules.

5. Acceptable Use & Anti-Scraping

You agree not to:

  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or web scrapers to extract calendar endpoints, .ics files, or match data for the purpose of building a competing product or exhausting server resources.
  • Reverse-engineer any aspect of the platform.

6. Advertising and Third-Party Links

The Service may include digital advertisements, sponsor banners, or links to third-party websites (e.g., local Club sponsors).

Fixture Sync does not endorse the products or services advertised by Club sponsors.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites linked within the portal or calendar notes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Peregrine Automations makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the continuous operation of the Service, the accuracy of the calendar feeds, or that the Service will be error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Peregrine Automations shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via the Fixture Sync website or through notifications to Club Admins. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
